Matched OGS for a closed RCI account

I used to have an HGVC RCI account that I closed last year. I had few OGS that should have been deactivated at the same time but somehow they are still active. I was annoyed at the beginning for getting the emails that my OGS matched but in time I became curious to see what I could have gotten in reality. I am only posting the ones that seem to be distinct matches, not just reminders. You may even notice a Christmas week at Saratoga Springs! Here are the matches (all 2 BDR except SSR which is for 1 BDR):

I’m curious how you closed an RCI account from HGV, do you mean you sold the HGV?

Anyway, crazy that they are matching searches on a closed account. Sometimes RCI is a hot mess.

Yes I sold it. Does HGVC have any priority or one should expect more or less the same matches with a regular RCI points account?

If the moderators think it is appropriate they should move it to the sightings section. I did not post it there because these are not weeks one can book now

Same happened here. I assumed it was a glitch.

When you enter RCI through the HGV portal its using the corporate gateway so it should see just about anything in RCI. There are indications that DVC and Wyndham portal accounts see more inventory (from checking sightings).

The OGS you set up that way will only match weeks, not points. You have to do a manual search to see points deposits with HGV portal.

The OGS is just an entry in a data table that gets checked when the OGS batch job runs in RCI. When you sold HGV it had no way to send a notification to RCI to remove your OGS records. Not really a glitch, just a design flaw, they missed that use case.
